Hi,
I want to find somewhere to recycle glass near Sai Ying Pun. I see you have some public glass collection points but the nearest one is in Wan Chai! Why are there not more public glass collection points? Surely the more there are, the more it will encourage people to recycle.
Thanks,
Rachel
I’m sorry for reply you late. The message was hiding and pops up right now. I do agree there is a big demand on community glass collection spots.
I am happy to support Sai Ying Pun if there is space and chance for glass collection in place. Please provide more ideas.

April
Hello,
I am a employee at a bar called the Pontiac in Soho,
we want to be on board the recycling movement,
How do we get involved?
I’m sorry for reply you late. The message was hiding and pops up right now. I am more than happy to support you in glass recycling. It is simple: you separate glasses and preferable put it into a glass bin and GGG will do the rest. Would you please email me more details such as how many glasses you expected per weekly/bi-weekly? Your contact tel? And we can discuss a workable way for recycling. The email: info@greenglass.org.hk

April
Hi.
I support what you are doing.
But “Rescue the Planet” is not a true statement, so detracts from your effort. Please try to think of a more accurate mission statement and use that.
I’m sorry for reply you late. The message was hiding and pops up right now. Thank you for your comments and need sometime to conceptualize a statement or two.
I shall be grateful to share thoughts from you.

April
Hi do you have a recycling bin at Heng Fa Cheun estate ?
If not it would be great to get one. Thank you
I’m sorry for reply you late. The message was hiding and pops up right now. So here is my reply.
We do run residential collection spots since April 2016 due to the step in of gov’t. Residential spots are easy managing and we let it go for focusing on the challenges of bars and restaurants. If there is no glass recycling spot at Heng Fa Chuen, please call 2784 3970, the main contractor of Gov’t in providing glass facilities towards the residential estates.
We are definitely happy to receive your comments and support if you could for we are always understaffed/volunteers.

April
Hi, I live in South Lantau (Cheung Sha) and would like to know if there is a glass recycling point on the island
?
If not how can i ask the municipality to provide a location to collect?
thank u
I’m sorry for reply you late. The message was hiding and pops up right now. So here is my reply.
Please check it out here for the island: https://www.wastereduction.gov.hk/en/community/gb_usedea_materials.htm
For community glass collection, I would advise you make a proposal with a glass collection location and write to EPD and ask them to find out the chance or work out a better solution.

Hi all,
we are a yacht charter company and would be interested to get further information how to participate in the green glass project.
During our charters we produce a lot of glass bottle trash which we would love to recycle properly. Please get in touch with me or have a look at our company website http://www.yachts.asia
With kind regards
Roy
